When sales managers are asked how they measure the progress their sales people are making toward securing their organizations highest potential customers, most report they rely on short verbal updates that are seldom accurate and complete. The average closing ratio of C-level opportunities is about 1 in 5 before sales professionals have completed Strategic Selling. This ratio changes to 2 in 5 after program completion.
Coaching to Strategy will also provide sales managers a mechanism to measure, track, and report progress toward securing C-level opportunities across their marketplace. Synergistic opportunities with channel partners will also be obvious and easy to communicate and implement. After sales managers begin implementing Coaching to Strategic Selling, closing ratios will increase to as much as 3 in 5.
